Merchant Yachting has established itself as a leader in providing safe and competitive Fastnet campaigns by only using exceptionally experienced crews and NEW race performance yachts (Élan 410)

Fastnet 2009 has proven extremely popular and we are pleased to announce that we now have three Elan 410’s competing in this years Fastnet campaign.

Availability is limited on all three yachts. As we are allocating the few available places on a first come first serve basis time is of the essence. To reserve your place simply give us a call on 023 8021 5397 or send us an enquiry. 

Campaign One & Two

• 4th - 5th April - Training
• 18th - 19th April - Training
• 2nd - 4th May - Le Havre (2 races)
• 13th - 14th June - Channel Race
• TBC June - Onshore training weekend
• 10th - 13th July - St Malo
• 9th August - Fastnet Race 2009

Campaign Three

• 16-17 May - Training
• 30-31 May - Training
• 13-14 June - Guingand Bowl (Channel Race)
• 26-27 June - Morgan Cup
• 25-26 Jul - Channel Race
• 9 August - Rolex Fastnet Race

Package includes:

• Berth on one of our new, race prepared Élan 410
• Professional skipper and mate
• Two training weekends (afloat) with RYA instructors and Olympic squad members
• One training weekend  (ashore) (excluding Campaign three)
• Three qualifying races
• ISAF heavy weather training course
• First aid course
• Sea survival course
• Crew jacket and shore shirts
• All food and refreshments whilst onboard (no freeze dried at MY!)
• Overall approximately 20+ days sailing and tuition covering over 1500 nautical miles
